Jimmy is involved in a hit-and-run
Jimmy’s left on the side of the road as the car that hit him drive away. He’s rushed to hospital and the doctors discover that his spleen has ruptured and he’ll need surgery. Amy asks Jack if he’ll pray with her and when Jimmy comes through the operation, having had his spleen removed, Amy thanks Jack for his help.
Dustin’s friend arrives at Off Air and Paige questions him about Jack’s previous girlfriend. Dustin – assuming Paige is interested – tells her there’s no hope. Later, Jack, who’s feeling great after he returns from the hospital, discovers Paige kissing Dustin. Jack reacts angrily – and Paige can’t help but wonder – does that mean he’s jealous?
Mark’s suspicious when Charlie’s scant description of the driver’s car matches the vehicle Belinda was driving! But Steph can’t believe how jealous Mark is acting.
Steph’s furious when she discovers that Paul’s responsible for bringing Belinda to town. Mark, having discovered Belinda’s not responsible for Jimmy’s accident, apologises to Steph, admitting that he’s going crazy because he’s in love with her… Steph loves Mark too, and she tells him about Paul’s meddling.
