Eve Myles certainly proved her acting skills in this Welsh crime thriller, the surprise hit of 2018.
And if the first episode of this new series (in Welsh with English subtitles – the English version airs later this year) is anything to go by, then 2019 is going to be another stellar year for the Torchwood and Cold Feet star.
Fans will recall that series one ended on a cliffhanger. This series kicks off 18 months later, with Faith once again battling to keep afloat in the wake of errant husband Evan’s lies and criminal underworld dealings.
Here's how Eve explained it all to TV Times: "We start again 18 months later. Evan has left his family in a real mess, and all of a sudden the world has become a very dangerous place with what he has got involved in.
"Faith tries her best to normalise things, but now nothing will ever be normal again.
"There’s danger from the first scene – we certainly don’t tie things up with a pretty bow!"
In other words, expect plenty of flashbacks and jaw-dropping twists…
