Lexi is annoyed when Lisa presents Pollard with the additional curtains and she realises she's behind. Lexi takes Gennie's work, but she's left fuming with Gennie when Pollard criticises the quality. Lisa has a go at Lexi for bullying Gennie and Pollard hauls Lexi into his office. Everyone is stunned when Lexi is given the job, while Pollard tells Lexi that he was impressed by her deviousness! Matthew confesses to Katie that he talked to Anna about the stables to shock her into action. Katie persuades Matthew to attend a business meeting with her to help her win back an important client and she is thrilled when things go her way. Later, over drinks, Katie is surprised when she learns that Matthew gambled the future of King & Sons on a single deal. Bob is having second thoughts about moving, but he agrees to go ahead after encouragement from Jamie. Brenda tells Bob that the rumour mill has started after she was spotted moving into 'his' flat and he worries that Viv will think he's cheating on her. Bob sorts things out with Viv and he's thrilled when Jamie buys him a ticket to visit his daughter Roxy. Also, Marlon worries about a fragile Donna.
