It's not until Tony helps Angelo, whose tyres have been slashed again, that she believes him. Martha is disappointed that Hugo's gone to visit Gina and Xavier wonders what's causing the tension between Hugo and Martha. Ruby suggests if Hugo's business is failing, he's making things difficult for Martha, so that if he has to leave, she'll be glad to get rid of him. Martha tells Rachel that Hugo's in love with her, and that she's staying on the farm to give him space so his feelings can pass.
