Kim finds Esther unconscious at The Bean and calls for a paramedic. Lindsey is drawn to the commotion outside and locks eyes with Kim when Esther's brought back to life. Meanwhile, Trevor is confused when DS Thorpe arrives to arrest him. Grace tells Esther it wasn't Trevor who attacked her – she knows, because she was sleeping with him! Meanwhile, Lindsey panics when Celine tells her and Kim that the police are now convinced someone at the hospital is responsible for the Gloved Hand attacks. When Celine also reveals she doesn't have an alibi for the latest attack, Lindsey decides to use it to her advantage...
Esther tells Grace she doesn't want to be anyone's safe choice, and sets her free to be with Trevor. Celine, Kim and Tegan are stunned when the new face of the hospital billboard campaign is revealed… it's Lindsey! Meanwhile, DS Thorpe asks Freddie to tell him who tried to kill him and Esther remembers something from her attack.
Also, Neeta is fed up of people feeling sorry for themselves and decides to get Alfie back herself. She goes to see Alfie at the Roscoes’, but he doesn't want to leave Cindy, who realises she has to be cruel to be kind. Alfie returns to The Dog – but he isn't ready to forgive his dad.
