Libby and Dan struggle to come to terms with the end of their relationship. However, Steph and Lucas are there to support them. When Steph dedicates herself to looking after Libby rather than being there for Dan, he accuses Libby of turning their friends against him. While Karl tries to keep Libby's marriage break-up from upsetting Susan, Dan demands that Lucas picks a side... Despite his worst intentions, Callum finds that he has passed Grade 6 and will be going to high school next year. Toadie finally figures out that Callum has been intentionally doing badly at school in the hope of being kept back, so the older kids don't bully him. Toadie tries to offer reassurance but it's Paul who Callum turns to. Thus begins the battle between good and evil for possession of Callum's soul.
