Lula bonds with new science teacher Esther this week when she realises that they both have a hatred of animal testing. The pupil decides to make a stand against a cause that she believes in, but when she decides to take matters into her own hands, the result is a dangerous alliance between pupil and teacher.

Meanwhile, Steve-O's tyranny over the pupils at Waterloo Road continues. Just as Dynasty and Kevin are starting to enjoy their time together, they realise that Steve-O has done something terrible. It transpires that he has broken into their flat. Wanting to go up against Steve-O, Dynasty asks her brother Barry for help. However, an unusually sheepish Barry urges Dynasty to dump Kevin if she wants to protect him.

Meanwhile, Steve-O puts even more pressure onto Connor when it comes to repaying the loan. Connor is forced to hand over his house keys as payment, but what Steve-O finds inside gives him even more bargaining power. Steve-O discovers Connor and Imogen's wedding certificate, meaning that he has even more held over Connor.

Then, Dynasty decides to take Barry's advice and so she dumps Kevin. Telling Steve-O the news, she expects him to leave her alone. But instead, he tricks Dynasty into being on her own with him leading to a terrifying situation.

Elsewhere, Christine faces a tough interview panel for a position at Havelock High, but on her return to Waterloo Road is made an offer she can’t refuse by Michael...
