Mandy arrives early at the Campus, and is engrossed in a book on Animal Husbandry - she's going to try to make it work at the Fitzwilliams'. She returns to the house – this time, dressed appropriately and more confident. Going in, she finds that drawers have been rifled and cupboards pulled open. Mandy is worried until she reaches the lounge and finds a foppish young man on the couch – this must be the Fitzwilliams' son, Edward. Edward watches Mandy struggle with the animals and chuckles – she challenges him to try it - and he does, successfully. When Mandy realises Edward's Achilles heel is his inability to woo his dream girl, Poppy, the two agree to help each other out. As Edward cooks them dinner and they begin to bond, Mandy starts thinking that maybe The Good Life isn't out of her grasp. To thank Al for a good night, Jimmi wants to return the favour and share something he's passionate about: running. Al is less than excited, but they agree to go for a jog at lunch. Al can't keep up with Jimmi, and insists he go ahead – he'll meet him at the end. As Jimmi runs off, Al pulls out his fags, takes out a map and walks in the other direction. Jimmi find Al waiting for him... at a pub. Jimmi's a bit put out, but agrees to share a pint. Despite himself, he enjoys mucking around with Al – it wasn't the day he planned, but nonetheless... Also, Mrs Tembe organises a walking tour for her church group, but the guide is anything but helpful.
