The Albert Square residents greet Christmas morning hoping for a peaceful day. But with secrets to come out and families under pressure, will they get their wish?
The biggest shock of the day is when a ghost of Christmas past returns, as Max Branning come back to the Square! Max is keeping his reasons for returning under wraps, but is he still out for revenge against those who let him rot in prison?
Denise wants a nice quiet Christmas with Libby and Patrick, while Kim and Vincent are on holiday. But she’s less than impressed when she finds out that Patrick has invited Derek to join them for the day! There’s also further frustration for Denise when she finds out that Kim has told their mum about her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, in the Mitchell household, Phil’s health is rapidly going downhill. The family try to make the best of things, but it’s on everyone’s minds that this Christmas could well be Phil’s last.
Also, Jack is disappointed in Roxy when he spots her hungover and in a mess after another night out.
