Mo's baby dilemma!

Chizzy Akudolu plays Mo Effanga in Holby City

After learning she's pregnant, the surgeon's got a tough decision to make...

Mo got a shock last week when, after running out mid-surgery feeling sick, the consultant then discovered she was pregnant! Mo once wanted to become a mum so badly that close friend, obstetrician Mr Thompson (Ben Hull), agreed to act as a sperm donor. They ended up abandoning their plan but, following an unexpected night of passion recently, Mo then rejected Mr T, who fled to Sweden, heartbroken.

Now pregnant, alone and in a new role as Darwin's acting clinical lead, Mo books herself in for an abortion. With no one to talk to about her situation, Mo finds an unlikely confidant in Holby boss Henrik Hanssen and tells him she’s expecting. Later, Mo tries calling Mr T but has to leave a message.

When Mr T texts back telling her not to call him again, Mo breaks down to Hanssen – she regrets how she treated Mr T and is unsure she's doing the right thing regarding her pregnancy. Hanssen gives her food for thought when he tells her that only SHE knows what to do...

Meanwhile, already snowed under with a packed and understaffed AAU, Fletch is out of sympathy when he treats joke-cracking drug addict, Ivor. But when his son Mikey strikes a bond with Ivor, Fletch gets a lot more than he bargained for.

Also, Isaac finds his confidence knocked when he treats a mouthy teenager. As Ric watches on unimpressed, Isaac strives to prove himself both professionally and personally.
