Nancy is shattered when Jake refuses to believe she's innocent. She gets a call from Mrs Webster who tells her she has been withdrawn from the school. Nancy determines to clear the air with Newt but Nancy won't let her see him. Paranoid and angry, Nancy accuses Lauren of calling the police and attacks her in the village. Jake turns up just in time and rebukes her for embarrassing them in public. At the end of her tether, Nancy breaks down and promises Jake she'll do anything for them to stay together – even leave college for good. Shocked to wake up in a cell, hungover Sasha worries she may now have a criminal record. Angered by Val's influence on Sasha, an unimpressed Leo chastises his wife and daughter, while Lauren is mortified by her mum's behaviour. Elsewhere, Val blames Calvin for putting his own family in jail. Just as Sasha begins to feel a tad proud of her night in the cells, she overhears Val and Leo describe her as boring. Upset, Sasha finds solace in a stoned Fletch and opts to join him in getting high. Also, while Zak tries to avoid Val, Justin teases him that he may have found the woman of his dreams.
