Tired and exhausted, Nancy is finding it almost impossible to stay awake and her school work is suffering - but she's determined not to defer her exams till next year. But juggling her increasing workload with looking after baby Charlie calls for some desperate measures, and she enlists Hannah to help get her some prescription drugs to keep her awake. Aleksander is gutted when he hears about Carmel's upcoming date with Zak, but is unaware Carmel is dreading it. But things go from bad to worse for Aleksander when Jacqui makes him spy on Carmel and Zak’s date and he’s heartbroken to see Carmel with another man. Luckily, Aleksander isn't put off and he and Carmel end up sleeping together. Justin is still tormented by terrible feelings of guilt, despite Warren's best efforts to get him onside by giving him tickets to a football match. Justin tries to confide in Sonny, but finds himself having a heart to heart with Leo instead. Sympathetic Leo helpfully offers to put Justin up and advises him to keep out of Warren's way.
