If this rhino dies, the whole species could be finished
For 15 million years, northern white rhinos roamed the planet. Now, there are three left.
This is the terrible story of Sudan, the last remaining male northern white rhino.
In 1975, Sudan was captured and sent to a zoo in Czechoslovakia.

Back in Africa, conservationists were succeeding and a small population was thriving. But another outbreak of war in 2004 saw the wild population wiped out.
Sudan is now the last tiny hope for the species.
