Neighbours spoilers: Chloe Brennan is planning a romantic SURPRISE!
It's a very good day for Chloe Brennan on Neighbours. She gets a job promotion AND starts secretly plotting a special surprise for boyfriend Pierce Greyson!
There's a BIG change in management at Lassiters, as hotel bosslady Terese Willis (played by Rebekah Elmaloglou) is forced to stand down because of the sex tape scandal - and decides to promote Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) as General Manager in her place on Neighbours (1:45pm/5:30pm on Channel 5, see our TV Guide for full listings).
While Terese's husband and hotel boss Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) has his doubts about Chloe's suitability for the job, Chloe herself is thrilled by the news and let's slip to neighbour Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) that she's planning to celebrate with a BIG surprise for boyfriend Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) at the Melbourne Cup celebrations.
However, when Chloe re-connects with bestie and short-lived girlfriend Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) to share her exciting news, Elly doesn't think Chloe's plans are a good idea at all...
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) is pushing to get the Buddy Club up and running and believes it will be a great way to honour Shaun Watkins who originally approached Toadie with the idea.
However, Shaun's brother Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) has only just started grieving for Shaun, who is believed to have been killed in an avalanche in Switzerland, and lashes out at Toadie for being so insensitive!
Meanwhile, Kyle and his girlfriend Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) are the centre of attention as the sexy footage of them continues to circulate.
Kyle does his best to support Amy, who is mortified over both her personal and professional reputation because of the sex tape scandal.
However, she starts to push him away and instead turns to dad Paul for guidance.
But suspicious of Paul's motives in wanting to protect the reputation of Lassisters over his own daughter, angry Kyle snaps and confronts Paul...
Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5
