Neighbours spoilers: Romance for Paul Robinson and Jane Harris?

Neighbours, Paul Robinson, Jane Harris

Paul and Jane enjoy a dinner date together. But could it be the heartbroken businessman is still secretly in love with his ex, Terese?

So far so good with Amy Williams and Leo Tanaka's plan to have their dad Paul distracted by his former Ramsay Street neighbour, Jane Harris.

After Amy tries to encourage Paul to choose happiness over spite (and stop him from his continued attempts to ruin her and Leo's respective romances), Paul reignites his friendship with Jane. And when the old friends head out on a dinner date together, is there a chance the romantic sparks could fly between them?

Or maybe not. As it seems lovestruck Paul might still be hung up on his former flame, Terese Willis, who is now dating Leo. Uh-oh...

Meanwhile, on Ramsay Street, Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka's practice parenting with a goldfish has led the married couple to discuss the possibility of having kids of their own, maybe using a surrogate mum. Will Aaron and David ask one of their Ramsay Street neighbours?

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
