Paddy is uncomfortable when Rita insists on taking him to lunch with her parents to thank him for saving her life. Paddy is taken aback when family are just as over-the-top with their praise and he snaps and tells Rita to back off. Paddy is mortified when her horrified parents reveal that Rita's sister was killed in a hit-and-run six months ago, which is why his actions are so important to them. Lisa continues to worry that Zak may be playing away but Del assures her that she's being paranoid and suggests she talk it over with Zak. Lisa sees the sense in Del's words and heads over to Home Farm to speak to her husband but she sees a grateful Rosemary giving Zak a penknife as a present and thanking Zak for his support. Lisa is miserable when Zak pretends he found the penknife. Kelly is terrified about her court appearance and she's even more concerned when her solicitor tells her that she could face four years in prison. Kelly decides to plead guilty in hope of a suspended sentence and tells Jimmy she wants to start planning their wedding to take her mind off her troubles. Also, Pollard urges David to split from Del.
