Phil sacks Kat and Alfie!
Phil is hoping for a busy evening at the newly refurbished Vic after a disappointing turn-out at lunchtime. When Phil unveils the Queen Vic bust, now back in its rightful place on the bar, it receives a disinterested reception. Kat and Alfie waltz back in after their break to a warm welcome, much to Phil's annoyance. Apologising to Phil for leaving him in the lurch, the reunited couple are stunned when he tells them they're no longer wanted in the Vic... Meanwhile, Tanya's unimpressed when Max's promise of an 'evening out' turns out to be couples night at the Vic with his brothers. Jack tells Max he'll sort Derek a date and arranges to meet him in the pub. Derek is taken with the gorgeous Lisa until she stands up - and towers over him! Furious with his family's laughter, Derek squares up to Jack. Lola is defensive when social worker Trish questions Lexi's health, worried about the baby's untreated cough. Billy arrives as Trish is leaving and, wanting to give Lola a break, he encourages her to go out with her mates. As Lola chats to Abi and Jay about Lexi they're confronted by a threatening girl gang. Lola spots a familiar face...

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
