Initially upset that Bianca kept it a secret, Carol realises that Bianca didn't want to burden her while she was grieving. Later, as the Square residents ring in the New Year a mysterious figure opens up Derek's lock box... AJ is up to something as Zainab frets about preparing for the New Year party.
