She gives carer Toni Collette the slip and boldly goes from San Francisco to LA in an effort to hand-deliver her 427-page Star Trek script to a $100,000 writing contest in Hollywood.
The film is far-fetched and whimsical, but it won’t only be Trekkies who are won over when Patton Oswalt’s kind-hearted cop turns up and starts speaking Klingon.
