New West Brom manager Alan Pardew often gets early results when he joins a club, so the Midlands team will be more confident facing Manchester United (k-o 2.15pm) than they might have been a few weeks ago.

Not only that, one of their best players, captain Jonny Evans, is an ex-United defender who has been a huge asset at the back.

After an upturn in fortunes following previous boss Tony Pulis’s departure, he’ll hope his side can build on that form here.
