The Real Marigold on Tour

This week, we see pensioners Miriam Margolye, Bobby George, Wayne Sleep and Jan Leeming check out the all-dancing, partying city of Havana in Cuba
Being a pensioner in Cuba looks like a blast and, this week, we see Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes, darts legend Bobby George, dancer Wayne Sleep and former newsreader Jan Leeming check out the all-dancing, partying city of Havana.
But while Miriam moans about the lack of internet, Bobby plays dominos and Wayne joins a dance troupe, flirty Jan takes a chance on a holiday romance.
‘I’d like to meet someone but unfortunately that might never happen now,’ she says.
Miriam, who describes herself as ‘an old tart’ soon warms to her surroundings when she attends a class about sex for pensioners and Wayne finds that he has a new lease of life. Heart-warming, inspiring stuff.
This programme airs in Scotland at 10.45pm.
