At Summer Bay House, everyone's stunned that Ric has been found guilty of Rocco's murder and Matilda blames herself for the outcome of the trial. Elsewhere, Ric is taken to prison, where he's horrified to learn he's been transferred to the same jail as Johnny Cooper. Johnny and his gang waste no time in cornering Ric, intending to make him pay for what he did to Rocco. Later, Johnny catches Ric watching him do a drug deal, and tells him to keep quiet. But when the warden later finds a stash in one of Johnny's mates shoes, Johnny jumps to the conclusion that Ric has set them up. That night, menacing Johnny turns up in Ric's cell... Finding it hard to handle things in the wake of her abortion, Martha downs a large vodka at the Surf Club where she's spotted by Sam. Jack's concerned to hear that Martha's drinking and confronts her. He's stunned to learn about her termination, but defensive Martha tells him to back off. Later, at the house, Martha tells Jack there was no way she could have had Ash's baby and she did the right thing by getting rid of it.
