Ric comes face-to-face with new acting CEO Imelda Cousins on Keller and vows to show her how well he can run the ward. But she's already spotted a problem and wants to know why new junior doctor Lilah is on Keller when she's supposed to be on AAU. Ric's impressed by Lilah's work and when patient Gabriel arrives with a blocked artery, Ric leaves him in her care. Malick thinks Ric just wants to prove to Imelda he's got everything under control. But when Lilah makes a mistake, Ric realises he's put too much pressure on her, and defends her to Imelda who agrees to let her stay on Keller. Later, Imelda says she wants Lilah under Malick's supervision, and Ric doesn't like being publicity humiliated. Will the pair ever see eye to eye? Meanwhile, Jac's disturbed that Jonny's dealing with their break-up so well. When a difficult patient comes in, she tries to get closer to him through the case, but feels betrayed when she disagrees with a medical decision. And Luc is forced to come out of his lab when the new CEO demands he return to ward duties. With his research under threat, he recognises that he needs to let his friends help him, before he loses them all.
