Ronnie feels betrayed by Peggy's deception when she realises that Peggy knew Roxy was with Archie all along. Ronnie tells a defiant Roxy that Archie is deceiving her with his good father act, but it's clear her resentment stems from when he made her give up her daughter Amy when she was 14. Roxy has had enough of Ronnie mothering her and goes off to get drunk on vodka. Ronnie finds Roxy at the fairground the worse for wear, but Roxy hides the vodka. Ronnie tries to make Roxy see that she is only looking after her best interests but Roxy refuses to listen and insists that she's not going back to Walford with her. Meanwhile, Sean watches Roxy from a distance... Phil and Suzy escape the thugs who are after her and Phil drives back to Walford. Gold digger Suzy is impressed with the Vic and assumes that Phil's loaded. She turns on the charm and they soon end up in bed. Suzy wants to return to the salon and Phil insists on taking her.
