Roo sees Sid running on the beach and asks him how he's feeling now that baby George has gone. She knows things have been tough for him and she offers him a shoulder to cry on. Marilyn finds out Sid has been talking to Roo about their problems and she's not happy. The tension builds between them. Later, at Angelo's, Marilyn warns Roo to keep her relationship advice to herself. Elijah and Laura are enjoying a kiss by the beach, and it doesn't go unnoticed - particularly by Colleen. When Roo comes home to find Elijah and Laura kissing, she tells them they've become the conversation topic for gossipmongers and Elijah puts the brakes on. He needs time to work this all out. John is concerned that Gina is pushing herself to the limit and it looks like he's right, when Bianca spots Gina crying at work. With some help from Colleen, John comes to the conclusion that Gina may be showing early signs of menopause. Gina completely denies it so John speaks to Sid and stages an intervention with Colleen. Funnily enough, Gina's not too happy and it ends badly for all. Especially John, who is well and truly in the doghouse.
