Ruth struggles with Smithy's sectioning
On Julia's advice, Ruth talks to her therapist Henry and reveals her upset that she didn’t do anything to help Smithy earlier. Henry assures Ruth that Smithy's in the best place and helps her to see that although she may feel empty while on the meds sometimes, she's come so far. Henry doesn't think it's a good idea for Ruth to see Smithy and, when she's alone, Ruth hugs a jumper of Smithy's and cries.
