Sergeant Smithy, Alisha Danniels and her father Oscar are trapped in the overturned car and Pc Tony Stamp drags everyone to safety. As Alisha gives evidence at the trial, Smithy hears that the man who ran them off the road, Spencer Wright, has been arrested. And Spencer provides crucial information that leads to a shock confession later on in court... Back on the Jasmine Allen estate, terrified Pcs Beth Green and Reg Hollis end up trapped in the mobile police unit while rioting takes place outside. As Sun Hill officers arrive to take control, Pc Will Fletcher is injured and carried to safety just as a petrol bomb explodes next to them. As the rioting escalates, the officers are forced to use shields in an attempt to control the crowds and Pc Nate Roberts is delighted to be in the thick of the action. But the situation takes a terrifying turn when Nate is knocked unconscious and Will watches helplessly as Nate is dragged into an underground car park by thugs...
