Sophie and Sian kiss!
Sophie's still in shock over Sian's rejection and as she stands crying Sian is trying to make sense of things. Eventually, she realises that Ryan's lying and forces him into confessing. Furious, Sian races round to Sophie's and apologises for ever doubting her. Sophie's relieved and instinctively leans in for a kiss. At first Sian responds before losing her nerve and running off, leaving Sophie confused. John's pleased that the party is going better then he expected, but when an old colleague gets flirty he escapes into Colin's study for a breather. The pair discuss teaching, but while John recalls his time fondly Colin makes it clear he wants out. When Colin leaves, John sees a chance to save his own career and spotting Colin's credentials, he pockets them leaving Fiz upset and angry. Rosie dumps Kyle when Kevin doesn't recognise him as a footballer - in fact, he's the guy working on the burger stand! Also, Peter promises to never let his family down again; Lloyd offers Cheryl a cab in town and the pair obviously have a connection; Graeme tries his luck with both Rosie and Natasha, but gets nowhere. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
