Stella kicks Karl out!
As Stella meets with her accountant to sort out Karl's mess he thanks Sunita for letting him stay the night. The pub could be in danger and as a sheepish Karl returns home Stella lays into him; they need a loan to consolidate their debts which they'll be paying off for years. Karl vows to ask Steve for his job back and sort himself out, but when Peter confesses he instead turned up at the bookies it's too much for Stella, who feels her world imploding. Peter apologises to Leanne for their row at mediation and offering an olive branch asks if she'd like to have Simon for the day. Leanne's thrilled and her bond with Simon is clear, but when he overhears her calling Carla a black widow to Stella then repeats it at home Peter's outraged. Tommy and Tina are on cloud nine having finally admitted their feelings. When Tommy then gets a call explaining Geoff left him thousands in his will he decides to use his inheritance to woo his girl. Also, David brags to Audrey that he's got a new job at a posh salon in town; Carla debates Sally's proposition to buy into the factory. *Second Episode, 8.30pm* As Karl packs his bags he's crushed; he throws himself on Stella's mercy and while her heart breaks she stands firms. But when he returns to the pub with a wad of cash, having sold his most valuable possession, a signed football shirt, Stella's in turmoil. Having left the pub Karl breaks down in Sunita's arms as she listens to his woes. As Sunita comforts him Karl draws her in for a kiss. Meanwhile, Stella's decided to give Karl a second chance. Peter's called Leanne to the flat and demands to know why she's trying to poison Simon against Carla. Leanne tries to defend herself, insisting her comments weren't meant for Simon's ears, but Peter bans Leanne from seeing Simon. Leanne pleads with him to think of Simon's best interests, but Peter won't back down. David's being treated like a dogsbody in the posh salon, not a stylist, as he sweeps floors. But back on the street he brags about his opportunity, promising Gail that he won't cause his Gran any more stress. Also, Tommy wants to take Tina on a round the world trip; Carla tells Sally she'd be happy for her to become her business partner when Frank's shares are sold; Sally's over the moon as she shares her news with Kevin.
