Stella organises a family get-together to welcome Ben home from football camp but she feels snubbed when Ben clearly hasn't missed her and instead he excitedly talks about his time away. A newly confident Ben cheekily refuses to eat the burgers she's made especially but she maintains the perfect mother act, despite her hurt. Phil is conned into thinking that Stella is brilliant with Ben and he tells Stella that he loves her. Max is in a mood as it seems clear that his plot to split up Stacey and Bradley doesn't seem to be working, and he consoles himself by chatting up a woman in the cafe. Max thinks he's blown it when Tanya later turns up with her new supplier and it turns out to be the woman he chatted up, but she doesn't mention it to Tanya. Deano apolgises to both Sean and Carly after threatening Sean the previous evening. Chelsea warns Sean not to hurt Deano but Sean can't resist winding her up and he suggests they get back together.
