Steve and Lloyd are worried that Eileen is heading for a fall after Jamie's suspicion that Pat is married and they decide to stake out his house. After a couple of hours with no joy they are just about to leave when they spot Pat arriving with a woman who is clearly his wife or partner. They toss a coin to decide which one of them will break the bad news. Violet tells Sean that she wants to give their baby-making another go - with artificial insemination - and she corners Sean at lunchtime. Later on, a keen Violet wants Sean to give it another go when she catches him on a break! Vera realises that she can't convince Molly and Tyrone to stay and she tells them that she doesn't want them to leave on bad terms. But it looks like their plans to start afresh in a home of their own will come to nothing, anyway. Jack puts his back out moving his pigeon house and Molly and Tyrone realise they can't leave the two invalids to cope on their own. Also, Leanne tries to hand out flyers for her restaurant.
