Stuart arrives drunk at his AA meeting and, after leaving, heads back to Holby to try and make amends with Chrissie. Stuart finally tracks Chrissie down but the pair have a huge row on the ward when Chrissie realises he's drunk. Chrissie then finds Stuart crashed out in the locker room, where he admits that he's an alcoholic. Stuart refuses to believe Chrissie when she insists that they will never get back together. Furious, Stuart attacks Chrissie with a scalpel, slashing her face. Shocked by what he has done, Stuart holds Chrissie hostage, gagging her so he can stitch her wound. But Connie hears a noise coming from the theatre and bangs on the door... Meanwhile, having agreed an ambitious treatment for his brother, Joseph is horrified to see Harry deteriorate. After battling to save his life with Ric and Michael, Joseph and Lady Byrne agree to turn off Harry's life support. And, still being teased about her fake date with Linden, Donna decides to 'go on strike' rather than help Maria with an overweight patient.
