Syed disappears!
Zainab is heartbroken that Syed's secret has been aired in public but she's desperate to see Syed. Masood can't deal with the shame and bans his family from seeing Syed. Zainab sets out to find her son, but she's worried when she discovers he isn't staying with Christian. Zainab and Christian burst into Syed's flat and there's no Syed there either. Louise takes Ben's diary to the cafe and giggles with her school friends as she reads out an entry that says Leon is 'fit'. Phil overhears and snatches the diary from his daughter in a fury. A worried Phil shows Shirley the diary entry, but Shirley tells Phil the entry isn't in Ben's handwriting and Ben has been set up. Whitney is gutted when she learns that Billie has got a second interview for the army. Whitney encourages Billie to visit Jack and apologise. Billie gives a heartfelt apology about the shooting, but a furious Jack tells him to leave. Billie is devastated and tells Whitney that he's going to join the army and make Jack proud. Also, Peggy and Pat both call Harvey to arrange a date; Zsa Zsa gets another gift from her mystery admirer; Becca steals Whitney's t-shirts to sell on her own stall. Get EastEnders storylines first! An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
