The Brannings have a surprise guest
Abi has made friends with new boy Dexter, despite a suspicious Jay's disapproval. Abi brings Dexter to a family meal and when Jay turns up he attacks him! Max and Joey pull them apart and there are more shocks in store when Ava arrives. Tanya and Cora are stunned when Ava reveals why she's there - to collect her son Dexter! Kat doesn't turn up for her shift at the Vic after accepting a cleaning job from Roxy, feeling humiliated to be working for Alfie's new girlfriend. Alfie visits Kat and assures her that they are just trying to help. Later, Kat's resentment boils over when she has a few drinks at the Vic and sticks the knife into Roxy. Denise tells Zainab she's thinking of applying for the regional manager job at the Minute Mart. Instead of encouraging Denise, Zainab says she's going to apply as well! When Ian jibes Denise about his stall doing better than the shop, he realises she's down and invites her in for a cup of tea. Ian realises Denise is really suffering and offers her his spare room. Also, Phil has a proposition for Michael and it doesn't involve laundering dodgy notes.
