The police question Gail and Tina!
Rick steps up his campaign of harassment and demands more cash from Gail. When she closes the door in his face he tries Tina instead, but Jason tells him to shove off. Furious that he's getting nowhere Rick sets some newspapers alight and pushes them through Jason and Tina's door. Managing to put the fire out, Tina sends Joe a text telling him Rick tried to kill her. When David reads the message he insists Gail goes to the police. She refuses, but Jason has already phoned the police. As the police arrive on the street a desperate Gail fills Tina in on her dad's plan to fake his own death. Jesse is gloating over his big win and gives Eileen a watch as a present. But then tells her he's spending the rest of his winnings taking his parents on holiday to Egypt. Eileen's gutted and wonders what this means for their relationship. Roy warns a disappointed Anna and John that he's going to have to reduce their hours until business picks up. Also; Gary arrives home for the weekend with an Army friend, Quinny; Audrey's fed up with spending her evenings alone and calls Lewis. *Second episode, 8.30pm* The police question Gail and Tina about the loan shark. Tina decides to cover for her dad saying he's working in the lakes, but later tells Jason about Joe's crazy plan to fake his own death. Still worried Tina tells Gail that she's giving Joe till Monday to show up or she's telling the police everything. In desperation she leaves a message on Joe's phone begging him to get in touch. Meanwhile, 50 miles away Joe's body is hauled from the lake and taken away. Eileen's furious about Jesse's plans to spend all his winnings on his parents and tells him that he has to either take her instead or they are finished. Lewis fancies a bit of fun and persuades Audrey that they should go to the Rovers and pretend they've never met before. Liz and Deirdre admire him from across the bar and are visibly put out when he makes a beeline for Audrey and proceeds to chat her up. Norris clocks Lewis in the Rovers but can't remember where he's seen him before. Also; Kevin drags Tyrone to the pub in an effort to cheer him up - without much success; Gary's mate Quinny tries to chat up Rosie.
