Both Charlie and Tess are furious about having to take redundancy and refuse. But Harry tells them that they have a month to decide which one of them is going - otherwise he will choose. While Charlie and Tess put on a united front, divisions start to emerge among the staff prompting Maggie to voices their concerns. Elsewhere, a hungover Toby is ordered to sedate Steve, an aggressive crystal meth addict who was admitted after a gas cylinder exploded at his grandmother's house. When Toby is short with Steve, he punches Toby to the ground. Then, Steve starts causing havoc in the department and needs to be restrained. With everyone thinking that Adam is the mystery 'blogger', he tries to prove his innocence and, with TC's help, concludes that Toby is the culprit; and Dixie asserts her power following Josh's departure.
