The quirky, endearing and funny Glasgow-set comedy about the pitfalls of getting too close to your neighbours returns for a second series. Arabella Weir is long-suffering Beth and Plebs and Toast of London’s Doon Mackichan is Cathy, her annoying neighbour.
A terrible snob, Cathy is also queen of the back-handed compliment and they get more outrageous with every drink she consumes. She and her husband Colin (Jonathan Watson) are back from the holiday of a lifetime and want to persuade Beth and her husband Eric (Taggart's Alex Norton) to join them on the next one.
But they have an ulterior motive – to get a cheaper deal.
