Therapist Joy tries to maintain the spark with her husband Alan following an accident that has put their sex life on hold in this drama
Hollywood star Toni Collette makes her British TV debut in this funny and raunchy six-part drama.
It follows a married couple trying to put the spark back in their relationship.
The Australian-born star, whose big-screen hits include The Sixth Sense and Muriel’s Wedding, plays Joy.
She's a therapist who begins to reassess her marriage to teacher Alan (Stephen Mackintosh) after suffering a terrible bicycle accident.
The pair love each other, but their sex life is non-existent and Joy won’t put up with it any more.
'Everything is fairly mapped out in Alan’s life, which he probably quite likes,' explains Stephen.
'But Joy thinks it might be time to shake up that order.'
'I think there will definitely be couples watching it who are sitting there thinking, "That’s us!",' adds Toni.
There's also a top support cast that includes William Ash and Zawe Ashton.
Warm and honest, this is a refreshingly down-to-earth relationship drama.
