Angelo needs some time alone and Charlie confesses to Ruby that she's never lived with a boyfriend. Charlie tries to smooth things over with Angelo at work, and he tells her he thinks she'll come round to the idea. Charlie tells him she doesn't think she'll ever change her mind. Angelo is left uncertain about their future as a couple. He thinks she's trying to break up with him, but Charlie assures him she's not. Ruby is saddened to hear that Geoff called, but didn't ask to speak to her. She tries to take her mind off him by reading a new book, but she can't focus. She runs into Xavier on the beach and they chat, clearing the air since their break up. Mink arrives and stirs up trouble. Ruby leaves and Xavier is frustrated by Mink's behaviour. Romeo mentions how good a friend Xavier is and Mink says he can't be that good if Romeo hasn't told him the truth about their dad. Xavier admits to Gina that she was right, Mink is trouble. Romeo apologises to Gina and then Xavier about Mink's behaviour, revealing that he's worried Mink will get herself in real trouble one day.
