Thoughtful OB stands at Clare's bedside, hoping the scourge of Max's life will never wake up from her coma. He's just about to leave the hospital when Clare takes a turn for the worse and all hell breaks loose as the nurses try to save her. Hoping this is the end for Clare, OB is disappointed when she jolts back to life. Later, with an elated feeling of revenge, smug Clare tells Detective Grant it was Warren who pushed her off the balcony. Craig, Sarah, John-Paul and Hannah all sit their final exams, with John-Paul breezing through. But Craig struggles, his mind preoccupied with his confusion over John-Paul and Sarah. They later head to The Dog for a celebratory drink, but everyone is shocked, and Craig uneasy, when John-Paul confesses he's broken up with Spike. Still jealous at seeing Sarah and Craig together, John-Paul exits the pub, leaving Sarah and Craig making plans for university. Later, John-Paul asks Craig when he's going to split up with Sarah, now that he's broken up with Spike.
