Will David discover the truth about Max?
David fights for Kylie's right to be a mother. The atmosphere is toxic between Steve and Becky and Max is feeling it the most. Moved to see him so down Kylie offers a hug when she finds him in the Rovers' yard. But when Max runs away from her and back inside, Kylie's stung and relates her feelings to David. Unaware she sold Max, David can't understand why she's letting Steve and Becky raise her child. As David insists they could give Max a better home, and even suggests confronting Becky, Kylie is worried she'll be forced to confess to what she did. There's still no sign of the camper van, but when the culprit eventually finds it, he/she finds the van has been damaged. When Claudia finds a receipt for an expensive scarf in Marc's pocket she waits to receive her gift. But Marc turns to Audrey, raising Claudia's suspicions. Also, Tina wonders if Xin is milking her invalid status, but Graeme insists it's his duty to look after 'his wife'; James offers Sophie some info on working for the charity. *Second Episode, 8.30pm* As Tracy goes on her date with Frank she spends the evening talking about her worries for Steve. Frank doesn't want to hear it and Tracy knows it, but she presses on, a plan in mind. She's aware she's annoying Frank and when she admits she still has feelings for Steve he's pushed to the limit and suggests they cool things. As she turns it into a big stand-up row, Frank dumps her and she sacrifices him to focus on Steve. When Claudia spots Marc giving Audrey a kiss on the street she's had enough and accuses Audrey of stealing her man. As she puts Audrey on the spot Marc is forced to reveal the truth about their closeness. Norris and Mary are convinced they're on to the culprits, and Norris finally regains the power over the camper van thieves. Also, Kylie's furious with David for interfering over Max. But the can of worms has been opened and when Gail hears Steve claiming David and Kylie aren't fit to be parents she wades in.
