Will Faye lose Archie?
Faye's world is rocked to the core when her disabled son Archie is rushed in to hospital once again. As the team scramble to help Archie, who has swallowed a metal whistle causing him breathing difficulties, Faye desperately waits by his side. It’s down to Connie to save Archie in surgery, where she manages to remove the whistle. The procedure goes well, but Connie informs staff that Archie will require more surgery and he's far from out of the woods. Archie’s taken into ITU, where Faye worries that all her recent marital issues with Joseph have resulted in her neglecting her son. Joseph is quick to reassure her otherwise, and encourages her to concentrate on Archie’s recovery. However, fate looks to have other plans for Archie as nurse Lauren tends to him with the wrong medication… Meanwhile, Elliot is stunned when Chantelle, the suspected murderer of Holby's late trainee registrar Maddy Young, is admitted to the hospital with stomach pains. When news spreads of her arrival, can the staff face saving the life of someone who killed their friend? Elsewhere, Judith Marchant is introduced as AAU’s new Matron, and quickly discovers that her appointment is not a welcome one…
