Holby anaesthetist Jesse is concerned when girlfriend, HCA Adele, faints on the ward. Adele suspects she might be pregnant and, when she does a test, they’re both shocked to learn she's having a baby! Carefree Jesse is thrown by the news but he already has a lot on his mind as Guy's offered him a three-month job in the States! Adele overhears and demands to know if Jesse wants the job – or their baby.
When they go for a scan, however, Adele learns there's no baby – the pregnancy test was positive as she has an ovarian cyst, which obstetrician Mr T removes immediately.
