As Will's jealousy and paranoia increases, he crushes pills into a red wine bottle and invites Ash to the flat to talk. Meanwhile, Anna swipes one of her nurse's mobile phones and calls her son. As he looks at a lifeless Ash on the sofa, he tells his mum that he's done what he had to do. Will steals Ash's hospital swipe card and sneaks into his mum's psychiatric ward. She tries to talk him round but he has to kill her before she reveals his dark secret. Will carries Anna to the bathroom where he holds her under the water in the bath.
Will rushes out of the hospital and unknowingly bumps into Patrick on the way out. Will doesn't see him, but Patrick spots Will's distinctive purple trainers. Patrick is horrified when he finds a dead Anna and the nurse thinks he's to blame.
Carmel is adamant that her mum is still alive and refuses to leave the house until she returns. With a heavy heart the McQueens start to plan Myra's memorial but when Nana McQueen finds out the life insurers won't pay out, they need another way to get money.
Also, Frankie is confused when she finds out Jack has written a cheque to the Roscoes for £10,000.
