The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 24, 2024: Li's dilemma
Li finds herself in the middle of a big dilemma.
Bill and Katie make requests of Li in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 24, 2024.
We begin today at Forrester Creations, where Hope (Annika Noelle) is reading an article about Finn and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walks in and still can’t believe they released Sheila. She’s there to talk about her relationship with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge is in the CEO office talking to Steffy about letting Sheila go. Steffy can’t understand who would have done it if not for Sheila.
Poppy (Romy Park) tells Katie (Heather Tom) that she doesn’t know who she is, and Katie promises to get answers. She doesn’t think Bill (Don Diamont) knows Poppy as well as he thinks he does so she aims to find out.
Bill stops by Li’s (Naomi Matsuda) office and thanks her for making sure the paternity test was done properly. He’s so glad to have Luna as his daughter. Li says that he’s the best father for her niece because he’s such a great influence. Bill says Luna has had a big influence on him. Liam told him he’s becoming a Girl Dad. He knows it’s bringing them closer as a family, and that means Li is part of the family as well. Li says it means so much to her.
Katie says that Poppy can make everything easier by telling her everything she wants to know. Poppy says it’s none of her business, but Katie insists that she shares a child with Bill and therefore she needs to know. Why did she wait so long to tell Luna?
Brooke tells Hope that Ridge wants her to be the face of the line, making her return to the runway in Monte Carlo.

Steffy is done talking about Sheila. Steffy wants to talk about why Ridge asked Brooke to be the spokesperson for the bedroom line.
Li says Bill has done so much for her, especially after saving her life. He brought a stranger into his house but he says she’s not a stranger anymore. He’s hoping that Li and Poppy can start getting along. Li says they’ve never been able to get along before, but he points out that they’ve never had him before. He’s willing to do anything to help them heal their differences. "You’re one of us now," he says.
Katie can’t understand why Poppy hid the truth from Luna for so long. She denied the truth when Bill asked her about it. It doesn’t make any sense. Poppy says she needed the time, but Katie says it doesn’t add up.
Hope isn’t surprised by Ridge’s request that Brooke be the spokesperson. She loves how it will send a big message about timeless beauty for women of all ages. Brooke admits she’s interested but she doesn’t know if she’s the right demographic. Hope points out that Brooke wears lingerie and looks amazing. Brooke feels nervous about being in front of a camera but Hope really wants to know that she’ll do it. When Brooke says she already said yes, Hope is thrilled.
Ridge knows Steffy isn’t thrilled about the idea of Brooke as the spokesperson. When Steffy says that it’s a flashback and not a relaunch, and she doesn’t want a flashback of Brooke, Ridge realizes that it’s personal. Steffy outlines all of the reasons she thinks Ridge is making a huge mistake with this idea.
Bill says there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for Li. She helped give him a daughter, so she’s under the "Spencer umbrella" now. Li bursts into tears seeing how proud Bill is to be a father. After all the time she spent trying to make her marriage work with Jack’s affair with Sheila, she feels grateful to have Bill. Bill says she has him now.
Ridge makes his case, but Steffy says he’s only doing this for Brooke. And she’s not happy about it.
Brooke tells Hope how she came to the decision after Ridge got her so excited about it. Hope knows her mother will be amazing and she’s so happy for her. "Just be your wonderful self," Hope tells her.
Now alone, Poppy fumes over Katie asking so many questions. Luna (Lisa Yamada) walks in and asks what’s wrong. Poppy says she had a "run-in" with Katie.
Katie shows up to Li’s office and tells her that she had another "unpleasant" experience with Poppy. She’s hoping Li can help her.
Luna wants to know what happened. Poppy says she’s sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong. All Poppy is worried about is making sure Luna has a relationship with Bill and she’ll do anything to protect it.
Li says she’s never gotten along with Poppy thanks to her relationships with rich, older men. Katie hears this and asks about the paternity test. She wonders if there’s a chance the test could be wrong?
Hope thinks Brooke’s involvement will be great for the line and she pledges her support. Brooke wishes she had Hope’s confidence. Hope tells her mother that Brooke’s Bedroom will be a huge success. Brooke knows that Steffy won’t be happy.
Ridge reminds Steffy that Brooke is part of Forrester Creations’ legacy. Steffy’s concerned that they’re not putting the line out front, rather Brooke will be front and center. He apologizes for things that have happened in their family. He points out that he left their mother to be with Brooke, so if anyone should be at the receiving end of Steffy’s anger it’s him. He hugs her and praises her work as a CEO, and he knows that she can get past this because "the old Forrester versus Logan" is over.
