Holby City has announced the departure of some of its most popular characters.
As the long-running BBC1 medical drama welcomes a host of new doctors and nurses, it will be saying farewell to show favourites Guy Henry (Henrik Hanssen), Lauren Drummond (Chantelle Lane), Jimmy Akingbola (Antoine Malick) and Ty Glaser (Gemma Wilde).
Oliver Kent, executive producer Holby City, said: "Each of these unforgettable characters has brought something unique to Holby City and it has been an absolute pleasure having them on the show.
"I'd like to thank Guy, Lauren, Jimmy and Ty for putting in stellar performances week in and week out to bring these characters to life and I wish them all the best for the future."
Guy, Lauren, Jimmy and Ty will be on screen until later this year and, over the coming months, viewers will see their characters involved in life-changing individual storylines.
This follows the news that Tina Hobley will be leaving the show after 12 years as ward sister Chrissie Williams.
Meanwhile, it's also been announced that Torchwood star Louise Delamere will be joining the show as Holby's new director of nursing Colette Sheward.
She said: "It's great to be joining Holby City as part of the team. Colette is a surprising and funny character and I look forward to starting my ward rounds!"
Louise joins other new faces John Michie (Coronation Street, Taggart) and Camilla Arfwedson (Miss Marple, Law And Order UK).
John will play consultant neurosurgeon Guy Self and Camilla makes her on-screen debut in a few weeks as straight-talking junior doctor Zosia March.
Holby City continues on Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC1
