Dorothy finalist Stephanie Davis cast in Hollyoaks
Hollyoaks newcomer Stephanie Davis has revealed her character will bring plenty of mischief to the village. Liverpudlian Stephanie, who was a finalist in BBC talent show Over The Rainbow, has been cast as schoolgirl Sinead O'Connor. Stephanie said: "Sinead is quite a mischievous girl, she's the bad girl in school. She's going to bring a lot of mischief into Hollyoaks. "She's got two sides to her. She's got a mature grown up side, she's very protective and wants to look after her mum and dad and little brother Finn. But at school she is very different and gets into trouble. Her dad gets a job as deputy head and I rebel against that." Steph was offered a part as an understudy in the stage production Flashdance after she auditioned for Arlene Phillips. But she followed her heart and chose to accept her Hollyoaks role. "I ended up taking Hollyoaks because I absolutely love it. I used to watch it all the time," she said.
