Hollyoaks' Chris eyes award for exit
Chris Fountain has revealed he hopes to win a soap award for his dramatic exit from Hollyoaks. The soap hunk - who plays Justin Burton in the Channel 4 soap - revealed he is going to be leaving the show in style. Chris told heat magazine: "It's going to be the biggest episode of Hollyoaks this year, with some of the most exciting scenes I've ever filmed - it involves a big fire at The Loft, and I'm hoping the episode will be up for a soap award next year." The 21-year-old actor isn't sad to be leaving the soap. He said: "I've been in it for almost six years and I think it's time to move on. I don't want to just be a part of the background, and I feel I've done everything I could do with my character. "I won't miss the early mornings and being called up on my days off and told I've got to go to work. I will miss the people though - I've made some really good friends on the show. "I'm going to take a very long holiday, then speak to my agent. The hours we work at Hollyoaks are crazy - you can't plan holidays - so I could do with a proper break and some me-time. I can't wait to just hang out with my close group of friends." But Chris hinted he may return to Hollyoaks. He said: "I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen but I think the door will be left open."
