Emotions run high as Duncan Stewart prepares to say a sad farewell to his family in Home and Away
It's time for Caroline and Bryce to leave Summer Bay and set off for Hawaii, but Duncan can hardly bear to say goodbye.
Ever since the discovery that his wife is suffering from Huntingdon's disease, Duncan has abandoned all the bitterness he's been harbouring towards her and for the first time in ages, the estranged couple have managed to build bridges.
Meanwhile the thought of being parted, once again, from his son breaks his heart. As they say their final farewells will Duncan have a change of heart and decide to go with Caroline and Bryce? Or will he decide his future lies in Summer Bay?

Duncan feels a deep regret that he and Caroine wasted so much time and energy being angry with each other during their marriage.
After giving Bryce a cuddle he tries to encourage Caroline to stay, promising he'll support her through her illness.
He can't help worrying that Bryce may have inherited Huntington's disease from Caroline.
Caroline has never had Bryce tested and tells Duncan that her own childhood diagnosis was like being given an early death sentence. She wishes she'd never known.
Grandpa Alf is also struggling to cope, he's grown incredibly close to little Bryce during the past few weeks.
