I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! host Ant McPartlin will have to wait to find out if he will be best man for his on-screen partner Declan Donnelly.
Dec announced his engagement to his manager, Ali Astall, last week while in Australia filming the ITV reality show.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, the pair, never seen apart on screen, revealed Dec had gone solo with the proposal and kept his fellow Geordie in the dark.
Ant told the paper: “No, he did it all himself. I’m very proud of him. Good lad.”
And Dec said: “It just seemed like the right time. So yeah, I just did it.”

And on the subject of his best man, he added: “He (Ant) has got to wait to be asked. There is plenty of time for all that.”
Dec, 39, who was best man at Ant’s 2006 wedding to Lisa Armstrong, first found fame with Ant in teenage drama Byker Grove. He has previously dated actress Clare Buckfield and TV presenter Georgie Thompson.
